The restaurant is always clean, I even tried sneaking a peek at the kitchen a few times on my way to the restroom you can see back there a little bit and it looks clean from where I was. Their restroom is clean as well. They are pretty consistent considering it’s not some chemical fast food combination like McDs. The customer service is great so it keeps me coming back from time to time. I went in on 12/7/24 around 7:30pm they were getting ready to close and I couldn’t call to make an order ahead of time, so my pregnant self took a few minutes to get there to order. I thought they would be closed so I was apprehensive upon entering. The service was professional and the staff were pleasant and got my order out right away. I have been to places where I could see and feel the annoyance on the staff faces, to the point I find myself apologizing for only god knows what. That was not my experience and I am happy to write about it. I don’t like leaving reviews good or bad so... Thank you for a great experience.
An incredible atmosphere where the food is equal to the ambience of what makes 'soul food' unique and distinct to the pallet. It makes you remember the food that came out of Grandma's kitchen. And the meals everyone gathered around in her house to celebrate 'family'. Come back home to a taste of tradition and values that make your heart feel good and your stomach too. We ordered catering for a small family gathering. They were great about customizing our order for the size of our group. We got very generous trays of food and it was piping hot. Everyone was blown away by the amazing ribs. Other favorites were the mac n cheese and cornbread. All the food was delicious.
I had a taste for soul food on Easter Sunday. I have the app for this place. It made my order ready for pickup. I drove an hour to get there
If I could leave more stars I would. The place was clean . The food was Amazing. Everything looks just how it’s pictured. I recommend the soul rolls. The cheesecake was to die for I got the snicker chunk and strawberry shortcake cheesecake. They were amazing, I also got the banana pudding it was even better.. I got the dark meat fried chicken platter with Mac and yams . The yams melted in your mouth the Mac and cheese was delicious and the chicken was fired to perfection. 10/10 would definitely recommend. I will definitely be back..

The first time there, the food was very good. The atmosphere of a fast food restaurant but the food is cooked to order. The way it was short and worth it.
I had the beef ribs and they were beyond tender, falling off the bone and seasoned to perfection. Greens were really good, seasoned to perfection as well. The potato salad was really good as well. I would give my meal 10 stars if I could. Customer service was great too. This was my second time coming I used to pick up from them when they were in Berlin Farmers Market. They are much closer to me now. Will continue to come here! Thanks!
